Gehwol blogger campaign wins two prestigious awards

The influencer marketing campaign "Bloggerherzen für Füße: Der Gehwol Testerclub" (Blogger hearts for feet: The Gehwol tester club) has been awarded two prestigious communication prizes: The PR Report Award and the German Prize for Online Communication.

The Gehwol Testerclub is the central tool of the social media activities of the foot care specialist Eduard Gerlach. Here, 360 carefully selected beauty bloggers as brand ambassadors generate so much buzz that 1.2 billion followers a year engage intensively with Gehwol foot care products and communicate about them. Constant new and exclusive promotions maintain the flow, ensure excitement in the community as well as reader involvement with 99.6 percent positive sentiment. Meetings at blogger events and at the annual Tester Club Day intensify the members' attachment to the Gehwol brand. In addition, the absence of paid media makes the tester club an extremely budget-friendly measure.

Every year, the PR Report Award honors the best communications projects in the German-speaking world. Initiated by the leading industry medium PR Report, this year a top-class jury evaluated 360 submissions in 25 categories in a multi-stage process to crown the winners in a secret ballot at the end. The Gehwohl tester club is the winner in the corporate communications category "Small and medium-sized enterprises."

The German Online Communications Award (DEPOK) honors outstanding digital campaigns and projects. Innovation, strategic approach, execution and efficiency are the evaluation criteria the jury uses to judge the 700 campaigns submitted. The Gehwol tester club achieved the bronze award among five nominated campaigns in the industry category "Chemistry & Pharma". The prize was awarded this year for the tenth time by "pressesprecher" magazine and Quadriga University, Berlin.
