dk Life Science Communications sharpens its strategic profile with a new, target-group-oriented team structure and expanded senior management

Frankfurt, 1 April 2026 – The healthcare agency dk Life Science Communications is consistently developing its strategic direction, thereby strengthening its position as a partner for target-group-specific healthcare communication.

With this new structure, dk – part of the WEFRA LIFE Group since 2023 – is responding to the increasing specialisation in the market and the growing demand for integrated, bespoke communication solutions.

Laura Intile-Woo has been appointed Director of the new Digital HCP Patient Affairs & Stakeholder Communications team

As part of this strategic development, dk is further expanding its expertise in the field of digital healthcare professional communication: ‘Digital HCP Patient Affairs & Stakeholder Communications’ is a new, specialised team dedicated to the development and implementation of digital communication solutions for healthcare professionals. Laura Intile-Woo, who previously served as Team Lead in the Rx division and has been promoted to Director as part of this move, will take over as Head of the team from 1 April 2026.

“We recognise and understand our clients’ need for bespoke and effective digital solutions to build and maintain long-term HCP relationships,” explains Laura Intile-Woo. “We have built up a great deal of expertise in this area, which we are now making available to clients in a consolidated form.”

In her new role, Laura Intile-Woo will draw on her many years of experience to drive the further development of innovative, high-quality product offerings in the field of digital HCP engagement and to continue expanding the service portfolio in this forward-looking sector.

“Laura Intile-Woo embodies the combination of high-level subject matter expertise with a clear understanding of modern and targeted digital communication. She will play a key role in strategically developing our digital service offerings for healthcare professionals and ensuring they are fit for the future,” said Niklas Kurz, Managing Director at dk and WEFRA LIFE.

Focus on Patient Affairs & Stakeholder Relations

The former OTC team, led by Stiliani Papadimitriu, has also undergone strategic development as part of the reorganisation. Since January 2026, the team has been operating under the name ‘Patient Affairs & Stakeholder Relations’ and is focusing its expertise even more strongly on patient-centred communication and targeted stakeholder engagement.

In the area of Patient Affairs, the focus will in future be particularly on patient-centred communication strategies, health literacy and empowerment approaches. At the same time, the team is further expanding its activities in the area of Stakeholder Communications, drawing in particular on its many years of experience in initiating and facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogue formats, for example within established working groups on prevention topics such as iodine deficiency, folic acid and dental caries.

“For us, Patient Affairs and Stakeholder Relations are closely intertwined: our aim is to consistently align communication with the needs of patients whilst building sustainable relationships with the relevant stakeholders in the healthcare sector. In this way, we provide guidance, promote empowerment and develop sustainable communication solutions with genuine relevance,” says Stiliani Papadimitriu.

With its new team structure, which continues to comprise the established teams in the Rx division led by Bettina Sieber and the Medical division led by Dr Monika Vogt, dk underscores its commitment to approaching healthcare communication in a holistic, integrated and consistent manner, guided by the needs of the respective target groups – from patients and healthcare professionals to healthcare policy and societal stakeholders.
